$150 FORGOTTEN Honda CB750 | Will it Run?
This 1981 Honda CB750 has lived a hard life. The fuel tank is rusted to pieces, the ignition system is missing, and the 750cc engine has a hard spot when rotating it over by hand. We picked it up for a killer price of $150, which is CHEAP if we can get it to run! We bought this Honda 750cc motorcycle to steal the engine for our 750cc cross kart, which is currently engine-less after we removed the original 750.

Thanks for Watching!

Issac tell john to shut his lazy gob you do it take the flipping head off instead of guessing all the time he always wants the easy path I much prefer your channel as he always whimps out all the time just saying, How long does it take to remove the head and if it's just a piece sucked in the metal you won't know if it's done any terminal damage until you remove the head it's just that simple guessing gets you nowhere you know that john doesn't or doesn't care I like the fellow but boy does he want the easy path all the time and it's interesting to us to see the final conclusion of what is wrong with the engine I still love the channel but your even more. and it's so nice that you listened to your gut and did it and now you know what wrong with it instead of wondering what the heck was wrong with it job done now it's up to you whether you fix it or dump it nice one boys.

The spark plug wire alone wouldn’t ignite the fuel in the combustion chamber. There would be no ground side to complete the circuit. The spark plug itself grounds through the threads in the head. Plus, like Issac said, the wire would shoot out of the hole. Firing at top dead center of the compression stroke would easily push the wire out before it could ignite.

Hey guys, Cool old bike, kind of like what Im going to be working with here soon. But mine is slightly different in that its a Yamaha 650 4 cylinder, but the odd part is that its shaft drive. Any good ideas on how to make this work? I want it to go from shaft to chain, but its not going to be that simple. If you have any good thoughts, I would love to hear them. Keep up the great videos. I might add that I too paid $150 for it at a local scrap yard. Got it home, ordered a new ignition key switch for $21 and the bike runs great.

Heat up stuck nuts, plugs and touch a candle to it. The wax will wick into the threads. Heat again to wash out debris and lube the treads. This really works.

You should replace those stuck valves. If the piston even slightly hits a valve they bend and then they break the valve head off.
